The G2X upgrade is based on a new parallel-arm cutting head which has over-sized adjustment dials and an integrated micrometer. This plugs into Pro-Cut’s on-board computer and provides a digital read-out of disc thickness so you can set the cut depth and monitor thickness throughout the skimming process. An extendable tool arms accommodate oversized discs.

An electronic parking brake tool has been introduced by Laser Tools to help when servicing the systems on a large range of VAG and Mercedes-Benz vehicles. When plugged into the EOBD socket, the EPB tool retracts the caliper pistons, allowing the pads to be removed and replaced. The calipers can then moved back to the original position, wear indicators can be initialised and the pad thickness can be entered. On Audi A6 and A8 models, the tilt angle can be recalibrated if needed. It is also useful when fitting new park brake motors, calipers, discs and wheel hubs.
