Delphi launches DS Hub to ‘transform’ workshops

Delphi has launched its DS Hub in a move that the Phinia brand said today is set to transform workshop operations.
DS Hub, unveiled the day before the opening of the Automechanika Frankfurt show in Germany, is designed to streamline diagnostics and increase technician efficiency.
The innovation is a central gateway for workshops across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) to access Delphi’s comprehensive diagnostics and digital solutions.
Technicians can quickly access vital information such as passenger car and heavy-duty vehicle data to technical information, training modules, and parts catalogues all in one place.
Profitability
By integrating these essential tools, the hub helps technicians diagnose and complete jobs more efficiently, ultimately boosting workshop profitability, Delphi said.
DS Hub also offers access to real-world data for auto part manufacturers, providing insights into common faults, market trends, and new product development.
Future DS Hub updates planned for 2025 include advanced remote diagnostics features.
Phinia’s aftermarket VP for the EMEA region, Juan Thomaz, said: “We’ve created a seamless, all-in-one solution that addresses the key pain points that our customers face daily, and we believe it is going to be critical to every job, for every technician, across every workshop.”
Diagnostics
Neil Fryer, global VP of aftermarket at Phinia, said the group’s goal is to become the most trusted diagnostics partner in the aftermarket.
Delphi also rolled out a new e-booking system for training at Frankfurt. The system is already being trialled in the UK and will soon be available across EMEA and the US.
Meanwhile, Delphi’s new UK training centre in Warwick is on course to open in the fourth quarter of this year and will double the firm’s training capacity with the ability to deliver 6,000 courses annually.
The Warwick facility forms part of a broader Delphi initiative to expand and enhance its global training infrastructure, with the aim of ensuring technicians worldwide are equipped with the latest skills and knowledge to service increasingly complex vehicle systems.
