PArts supply firm switch to 24hr operation

Published:  08 June, 2011

PARTS supplier Comline, has announced that the addition of an overnight third shift, which changes its warehouse into a 24 hour operation, has resulted in a 'monumental increase in productivity', outweighing the extra hours; which enables the business to manage a surge in UK and export sales.

"The 2010 investment to increase our warehousing capacity to 72,000 sq ft clearly helped, but the efficiency of moving to a 24 hour operation has really raised our game," explained Comline's sales and marketing director, Malcolm Rosher.
