ECP top team exits

Published:  28 December, 2018

Rumours continue to swirl over the current status of the senior team at Euro Car Parts, following  the reported resignation of Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia and other senior management figures  from the company.

Yesterday (27 December) it was reported by Sky News that company founder Sukhpal, along with others including CEO Martin Gray and CFO Steve Horne had all stepped down from their roles.

Their decision is said by sources to result from planned cuts to the company that parent LKQ intends to implement. The cuts are said to include 400 job losses. In total, ECP employs 12,000 across the UK.

The company recently opened its T2 distribution facility at Tamworth, and continues to expand across the country with new branch openings.

Aftermarket has approached Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia, Martin Gray and Euro Car Parts for comment.
