Impressive spark

This spark plug from NGK covers more than 30 popular Mercedes-Benz models now entering the aftermarket which are powered by the 1.8-litre M271 engine.

The plug, developed solely for the marque, is used on models including the C160 Komperessor, SLK 200 and 250 and the 216, 316 and 516 Sprinter models.

The PLKR7B8E spark plug comes with a long, 26.5mm thread with a diameter of just 12mm.

Due to its precious metal design, spark erosion and corrosion cannot negatively affect the electrode gap, which remains virtually unchanged over the entire service life of the spark plug.
