Booking platform goes commission-free until 2022

Recently launched booking platform GaragesNear.me is waiving its 10% commission fee until at least the beginning of 2022, making it free to use for garages for the foreseeable future.

A spokesman for the platform observed: “GaragesNear.Me is enjoying continued rapid growth month-on-month, with a network of over 270 leading trusted garages throughout the UK. Its core goal is to provide online, real-time manufacturer data driven service and repair pricing to motorists.

“The platform uses its own pricing engine, generating accurate job quotes in real-time, based on vehicle-specific parts requirements and repair times, as well as garages’ own labour times and discounts. There are no listing fees for garages up front.”
