Arnold Clark Autoparts announces Supplier of the Year

Arnold Clark Autoparts has named First Line as the winner of its Supplier of the Year award, with TMD Friction coming a close second in the runner-up spot.

Commenting on the awards, Craig McCracken, Group Factor Manager at Arnold Clark Autoparts, said: “First Line are deserved winners of our award, and it’s a pleasure to recognise their service to our ever-expanding branch network.

“It’s been a particularly challenging period for the automotive industry, so to give all of our suppliers thanks for their support over this time has been really special,” he added.
First Line Managing Director Dan Joyner observed: “This award is testament to the efforts made by First Line over the last year to ensure our product range, customer service and stock availability meets and exceeds our customers’ expectations, and this award recognises our entire team’s commitment and dedication.”

On their runner-up award, TMD Friction UK Sales Manager Nick Hayes commented: “TMD Friction was delighted to be among such esteemed company as a nomination for these awards, so it’s a real feather in our cap to be named as runner up. We have strived to meet and exceed the standards required to overcome the challenges that the last two years has thrown at us to deliver exceptional customer support, availability of quality parts and technical support, so it’s nice to recognise our whole team’s efforts with this runner-up title.”

The awards recognised achievements across a number of categories including ease of ordering, availability of stock, warranty handling and technical support.

Suppliers on the shortlist were BGA, Brake Engineering, Febi, Lesjofors, Polyco, Rollco, Sogefi, Shaftec, TMD and WAI.
