Turn on, tune in, buy parts: Garages switch to online parts supply?

Independent garages are “switching on” in greater numbers to online parts supply according to PartsInMotion.co.uk as they look to sidestep the impact of global parts supply issues.

PartsInMotion.co.uk Director Matt Gates observed: “Garages are seeing the benefits of online providers that have the expertise and resource to source the brands and products they use, backed up by technical support and supplied from within the UK.”

According to Matt, demand for braking, clutch, steering and suspension along with filtration and exhausts is high, with garages eschewing traditional routes such as the local dealership. “Every garage should have an online motor factor in their supplier portfolio, it’s not going away, and we continue to invest to ensure we support technicians on a daily basis.”
