Alliance Automotive acquires Leicester Auto Parts

Alliance Automotive Group UK&IE has announced its acquisition of Leicester Auto Parts.
Leicester Auto Parts is a single-store, light commercial vehicle business based in Leicester with over 50 years of expertise in supplying automotive parts and accessories.
The terms of the deal, confirmed on July 3, were not disclosed.
Alliance said it was particularly delighted to welcome to the group Leicester’s excellent counter team, who has over 100 years of combined car parts knowledge, as well as long-serving delivery drivers and office staff who have over 25 years of service.
Alliance is a leading distributor of passenger and commercial vehicle parts to motor factors, garages, franchise networks and public services throughout the UK and Ireland.
The group’s network includes more than 300 local stores, 20 regional distribution centres, a 1 million ft2 national distribution centre, and a workforce of more than 6,000.
