Bright sparks plug LPG

rong>Denso released its latest spark plug catalogue recently and, in a new development, it featured an LPG section to help users select the right plug for cars being converted to run on liquid petroleum gas or compressed natural gas.

/>In total, the catalogue features 6,600 plug applications with 112 new introductions. New additions include the latest plugs for the Alfa Romeo Mito, Ford Ka and VW Golf VI among many others. Paul Payne, Denso’s aftermarket sales boss, said: “Denso manufacturers its aftermarket spark plugs to OEM standards largely in Japan. Most of these references feature Denso’s patented U-groove technology for reduced emissions, enhanced ignition performance and fuel economy,” he added. “Our Iridium ranges for the aftermarket also feature our patented micro-fine 0.4mm iridium alloy central electrode which helps deliver racing-style performance with lower fuel consumptio
