Clever unit takes it all in

No, it’s not a trendy eco-toilet for hippy festival-heads, the Filtoo is an exhaust extraction unit from Flextraction. Built by Teka in Germany, it sucks up fumes, dust and gases found in welding, bonding, gluing, brazing, soldering, laser welding and restoration applications.

The ‘filtoo’ has a fan capacity of 2,500m3/hr with an operating noise level of 72dB(A). It is available from stock for a next day delivery and is supplied with the option of either a 3m x 150mm diameter self-supporting extraction arm or a flexible hose on the side for attaching to a processing application. It has an operating hours meter and an audible alarm for when the filters need changing. It weighs 80kg and because of its compact size is suitable for small workshops.
