Core Diagnostics partners with GYS for Power Pro 100 battery support unit

Remote diagnostics and ADAS equipment specialist Core Diagnostics has launched the Power Pro 100, a new 100A battery support unit and charger manufactured exclusively for Core Diagnostics by GYS.

The company says the Power Pro 100 offers bodyshops, accident repair centres, glass replacement businesses and general workshops an affordable route to a high-specification, GYS-built battery support unit and charger.

A stable, consistent power supply is essential whenever a vehicle’s electronic systems are being worked on. Voltage drops or fluctuations during programming and coding, remote diagnostics procedures or ADAS calibrations can lead to incomplete processes, inaccurate results or – in the worst cases – damage to vehicle modules.

The Power Pro 100 is designed to remove that risk. Its diagnostic mode supports power requirements of up to 100A during programming, coding and general maintenance work, while voltage can be adjusted from 12 to 14.8V in precise 0.1V steps to match OEM specifications exactly – giving technicians confidence that the results they’re getting are accurate.

As well as diagnostic support, the Power Pro 100 also functions as a full battery charger and maintenance unit for 12V lead-acid batteries (sealed, liquid or AGM) and 12V lithium (LiFePO4) batteries, charging from 5Ah to 1200Ah.

A dedicated Supply mode maintains continuous power to the vehicle during battery changes, protecting stored memories and settings, while SOS Recovery mode allows deeply discharged batteries to be brought back into use.
