Countdown on for The Aftermarket Event!

The Aftermarket Event is now just days away with a packed two-day programme of seminars, panel discussions, live workshops, demonstrations and brand expos awaiting.
Easy2Recruit founder and CEO Ambi Singh (pictured above, centre) will be sharing his expertise as part of the panel discussion programme on October 3, where he will be taking part in the ‘Healthy Retention in the Aftermarket’ debate.
And award-winning specialist supplier Pichler Tools will exhibit its latest range of workshop solutions as it joins industry peers showcasing an array of products and services during the event on October 2-3 at Farnborough International.
Singh said: “I’m delighted to be taking part in the inaugural Aftermarket Event, where I will be able to offer my views and experiences on the importance of staff retention as part of an overall business strategy.”
Joining Singh in the debate will be a number of industry luminaries including AAK Autos CEO Antony Jhally and Ben’s head of outreach Ellen Plumer, with HR Vitals’ director Jennifer Webb chairing the session.
As well as running Easy2Recruit, the agency helping garages to hire overseas talent, Singh also owns and operates Coventry’s Binley Woods Service Centre.
Cutting-edge solutions
“As a garage owner I know the obstacles and challenges that garages face when it comes to staff recruitment and retention. This is what inspired the formation of Easy2Recruit, and why so many garages are coming to us to help fill vacant roles.”
Easy2Recruit launched in June 2023 and helps garages to recruit technicians from the United Arab Emirates and India.
The company, which is also the authorised recruitment supplier for the National Body Repair Association, has also launched Student2Skill, which pairs international students studying in the UK with garages looking for part-time workers.
Meanwhile, visitors to Pichler Tools stand can expect to see cutting-edge workshop solutions, with live demos and expert advice on finding the right tool for the job.
The stand will highlight a full range of wheel bearing removal and ball joint splitting tools. Pichler’s popular ‘problem solvers’, such as its injector and NOx sensor removal kits, are expected to be a big draw.
Steve Prince, MD at Pichler Tools UK, said: “We’re looking forward to being a part of this new trade show. From advanced hydraulic kits to essential workshop equipment, we’ll be bringing along the tools that are proven to enhance efficiency and make the job more profitable.”
Prince said he looked forward to The Aftermarket Event establishing itself as a fresh new platform for garages to discover business-boosting ideas.
