Engine specific oil

Autoparts, a motor factor which operates in Scotland and the Midlands, has launched an exclusive brand of Ultratec oil products.

The semi and fully synthetic oils are suitable for all cars, light commercials and mixed fleet applications and leading the range is the new 5W-20 ProTec Eco oil for popular Ford EcoBoost engines. Six other grades are available – 10W-40 Q-Tec, 5W-40 V-Tec, 5W-40 Supreme, 5W-30 ZTec, 5W-30 G-Tec and 5W-30 EcoTec.

Group factor manager, Craig McCracken, says: “It’s imperative that independent garages use the correct oil in their customers’ vehicles because the repercussions can be significant and expensive if they get it wrong.”
