Exol enhances Optima oil with new specifications

Exol Lubricants has announced a significant update to the specification profile of its Optima C5 LSOV 0W-20 (M520), strengthening the product’s position as a future-ready engine oil for modern petrol and diesel vehicles.
Optima C5 LSOV 0W-20 now meets the latest API SQ and SQ-RC categories, alongside ILSAC GF-7A, reflecting the most recent advances in engine oil performance standards, Exol said.
These additions build on the oil’s existing low SAPS, fuel-efficient formulation, delivering further improvements in deposit control, high-temperature viscosity stability and fuel economy performance compared to previous API SP and ILSAC GF-6A categories.
