‘Fab four’ head to Auto Windscreens contest final

Four Auto Windscreens technicians have made it to the final of the company’s annual ‘Clearly the Best’ contest.

They are Craig Foy, Peter Holton, Richard Barber and Spencer Monk, who work at the company’s Stoke-on Trent, Swansea, Croydon and Crayford service centres respectively.

A total of 26 technicians took part in the regional heats across the UK with all four finalists securing their spot in the grand final for the first time.

The final will be held at Auto Windscreens’ Chesterfield training centre on September 2, where one of the four will be crowned the champion.

With a combined 88 years’ experience in the industry, the finalists will be assessed on the key skills required for their role, including technical knowledge, customer service, health and safety, ADAS calibration, quality of workmanship and environmental social and governance aspects of the job.

James MacBeth, MD of Auto Windscreens said the finalists’ commitment to excellence reflected the high standards set by the firm and its ongoing investment in training, innovation and technical expertise.
