Green-eyed monster opportunity? Supertracker machine boosts outoor/mobile alignment

Supertracker says its decision to update its STR1 laser aligner with green lasers will make undertaking wheel alignment in a range of situations, including outside, a much more practical possibility.

Supertracker Director Andrew Bates explained: “The use of green lasers is well reported to improve the visibility, precision and clarity of the laser line. Not only in normal workshop light conditions, but also in outdoor conditions, and over a longer distance, in comparison to the traditional red lasers. This takes an already versatile, mobile solution and makes it more accessible and useful in a wider variety of uses.

“This offers a notable advantage for use for track days, race teams and mobile wheel alignment, as well as tyre shops, MOT stations, used car centres and even to operators who are colourblind.”

Andrew added: “Green lasers are also visible in a much wider range of light conditions, meaning its effective for all year round work, indoors and out as well as they can travel over longer distances. They also offer clarity and precision due to the brightness, all important factors in environments requiring pinpoint accuracy.”
