Heathrow garage is key supply chain link for Ukraine

A UK garage has been revealed as a key link in the supply chain that is keeping Ukrainian troops and their support vehicles on the move in the war with Russia.
A and B Motors, the Heathrow branch of GSF Car Parts, has been repairing and supplying vehicles for the frontlines following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
A and B is owned by Bogdan, a native Ukrainian. To date, he has purchased, repaired and sent over 20 vehicles along with other essential items, GSF revealed.
Using containers to send the vehicles to the Polish border, one of Bogdan’s own mechanics is the contact in Ukraine to arrange transfer to the military.
Heathrow GSF Car Parts branch manager Nick Fogg said: “Bogdan is one of our best customers.
“Last month, they needed two clutches for some pickups they were preparing and put in a request through us as they normally would. I spoke to Pip (region 14 manager) and we were told they could be sent to them free of charge.”
GSF supplied a clutch kit, timing belt and water pump to get them up and running, Fogg said.
Bogdan was extremely grateful and a commander of a military unit helped to arrange a plaque (pictured) to be sent to the garage in recognition of all it is doing.
“We’ve been doing what we can for them since and are pleased to do so,” Fogg said.
