Hella Academy welcomes future auto professionals

Hella Academy has announced plans to host additional college open days at its IMI-approved training centre in Banbury throughout 2025.
The decision, following a successful pilot in 2024, is designed to inspire and engage the next generation of automotive professionals.
Events provide apprentice vehicle technicians with an opportunity to explore career opportunities within the UK’s automotive aftermarket.
Led by Steve Fox, UK technical training manager at Hella, the open days offer a mix of hands-on experiences, insightful talks, and interactive sessions.
Students are introduced to innovative solutions like Hella Gutmann’s ADAS calibration equipment, mega macs X and macsRemote Services. They also take part in practical activities such as camera calibration and remote diagnostics, gaining valuable real-world experience.
Fox said: “By bridging the gap between education and industry, we aim to spark curiosity, build skills, and highlight the exciting future of the aftermarket.”
Colleges interested in finding out more are advised to email steve.fox@forvia.com.
