HELLA staff rise to Ben’s Christmas jumper challenge

HELLA’s UK team has been getting into the festive spirit by getting all ‘wrapped up’ to support the annual Ben Christmas Jumper Day charity event being held today.
The charity called on the automotive community to join with colleagues and wear a Christmas jumper, with everyone taking part donating to the industry charity. The suggested sum this year is £3.
And to ensure the Yuletide magic lasts longer and goes further, HELLA has been running an internal competition for the best Christmas jumper selfie.
The HELLA team were asked to take a photograph of themselves in their Christmas jumper in an interesting location.
‘Creative’
For every photo received at HELLA’s UK headquarters near Banbury, the company will donate £5 to Ben. The staff member who submits the best photo is also in line to win a prize.
Neil Grant, HELLA UK managing director, said: “We wanted to make sure everyone at HELLA had the chance to take part in Ben Christmas Jumper Day. Thanks to our competition, we are also giving everyone the opportunity to get creative too.”
Funds raised through this event, as well as Ben’s many other activities, are used to support members of the automotive community and families who are struggling, or in crisis, and the organisation offers a wide range of services to those who work or have worked in the industry.
