IAAF to unveil blueprint for ‘future of federation’

The IAAF has announced plans to set out the future of the federation — starting with a series of meetings this week.
The trade association said it will host its first meeting at ensuring a better gender balance in the automotive aftermarket, followed by its CV, council and garage meetings. These will be followed by a series of regional meetings in October.
Upcoming meetings will focus on ensuring a better gender balance in the aftermarket (September 23, GTG West Midlands), the IAAF CV Council meeting (September 24, GTG West Midlands), IAAF Council meeting (September 25, LKQ Group UK) and a Garage Council meeting (September 26, Hilton Garden Inn).
Chief executive Mark Field (pictured) said: “The federation has successfully evolved, and I’m delighted to have more than 70 members playing active, volunteer roles within the various communities and councils to help strengthen the industry and bring about a better aftermarket for all.
“This is a united federation, and we will move forward together, ensuring IAAF supports every business and individual through a period of immense change in our sector.”
