Kerridge further expands with Vigo Software deal

Kerridge Commercial Systems said on September 18 it had completed its acquisition of Vigo Software for an undisclosed sum.

Kerridge’s portfolio features cloud-based solutions for the auto parts, auto servicing, tyre and vertical distribution sectors globally, including parts catalogues, point of sale, payments, bookings and inventory management.  

Vigo designs, builds and hosts warehouse and transport management systems across the UK and Ireland.

Kerridge said that with the combination of the companies, customers could expect to see improved stock visibility, capture logistics operational efficiencies and enhanced client service and communication.

CEO of Kerridge Ian Bendelow said the deal underscored the firm’s commitment to innovation, best in class industry specific functionality and providing market leading solutions to the logistics market globally.

Last June, Kerridge completed its acquisition of product information management specialist Rain Data, which provides data solutions to automotive aftermarket companies of all sizes, from independent garages and global OEMs to leading aftermarket brands.
