Keyloop to acquire ATG in auto sector retailing boost

International auto tech company Keyloop has agreed a deal to acquire UK-based Automotive Transformation Group for an undisclosed sum.

The companies said yesterday they had signed a definitive agreement that will see Keyloop take over ATG, which provides automotive technology focused on omnichannel retail — offering a seamless shopping across channels including in store, mobile and online.

The deal comes nearly a year after Kent-headquartered ATG launched its ‘Fusion’ omnichannel software-as-a-service offering.

ATG employs more than 330 and works with auto retailers, OEMs, financiers and fleet suppliers in more than 80 countries and at over 10,000 retail sites.

Keyloop said access to accurate data is at the core of its solutions, enabling efficiencies for dealers by offering a ‘key it once’ information flow.

Keyloop CEO Tom Kilroy said combining Fusion with Keyloop’s own capabilities would “make a meaningful positive impact on the digital transformation of the automotive retail experience”.
