Kumho gains ‘exemplary’ winter tyre rating

Kumho has announced its WinterCraft WP52+ finished in third place out of 51 brands in a top European competition.
Kumho said the tyre earned the top ‘exemplary’ rating in Auto Bild’s 2025 winter tyre test, which assessed key performance criteria such as handling and braking on snowy, dry, and wet surfaces.
WP52+ features a specially formulated rubber compound enriched with natural ingredients to ensure exceptional grip and precise handling, Kumho said.
The tyre’s snow-optimised tread pattern and advanced drainage design minimises hydroplaning and provides superior traction and braking performance.
In addition, the WP52+ achieved outstanding results in a comparative product test conducted by TÜV SÜD, the respected global testing and certification organisation.
