LKQ Europe appoints van Erven Dorens as CFO

Diederik van Erven Dorens has been appointed as chief financial officer of LKQ Europe, the company has announced.

LKQ said yesterday that van Erven Dorens brings more than 25 years of experience to the company, having held senior finance and management positions in global businesses including Proctor & Gamble and S C Johnson — and most recently as CFO of EMEAI in Honeywell’s aerospace division.

As part of the LKQ Europe executive team, van Erven Dorens will be based at the business’ headquarters in Zug, Switzerland, reporting directly to Rick Galloway, global senior VP and CFO at LKQ Corporation.

He will also work closely with Andy Hamilton, president and executive MD at LKQ Europe.

Hamilton said: “Diederik brings invaluable experience and energy to our European executive team and will play a pivotal role in driving our strategy forward, as we help our aftermarket customers to grow their businesses in parallel with our plans to grow and develop our own organisation.”

Hamilton praised outgoing CFO Yanik Cantieni for his work with the company and wished him every success for the future.”
