LKQ introduces innovative MPM Bag-in-Box

LKQ Euro Car Parts has introduced an innovative ‘Bag-in-Box’ sustainable packaging solution for its MPM range of engine oils.
The range consists of 13 MPM engine oils, all of which are available from LKQ Euro Car Parts and the 20-litre Bag-in-Box offers customers a greener alternative to plastic packaging, and is set to take 40,000kg of plastic out of circulation per year, LKQ said.
The outer box is made from sustainable cardboard and manufactured without additional dyes or bleaches. Once the oil is finished, the interior bag can be removed and the cardboard easily compressed for recycling, taking up to 90% less space than the previous plastic containers and saving garages money on waste disposal.
