Lucas engine drive parts enter European distribution channels

BORG Automotive Newman’s previously announced plans to introduce a wide range of Lucas-branded spare parts to the European aftermarket have become a reality, with stock ready for delivery to customers across Europe.

More than 2,700 part numbers covering engine, chassis, clutch, transmission and wheel bearing applications are gradually becoming available through leading spare parts distributors across Europe during the coming months.

The range includes over 1,600 engine-related part numbers, such as timing belt kits, water pumps, V-belts, and V-ribbed belts, nearly 700 wheel bearing kits, and more than 350 clutch kits. And BORG Automotive Group reports that they all meet manufacturer specifications and offer quality on par with original parts. Plus, all part numbers are fully integrated into TecDoc and relevant electronic catalogues.

With the programme now live, plans to expand the portfolio, including the addition of timing chain kits, are already underway.
