MANN-FILTER tech shows endurance in Saudi sands

MANN+HUMMEL is championing the endurance and reliability of MANN‑FILTER products after they were put through their paces at this year’s Dakar Rally.
The Instatrade Loprais Team De Rooy FPT celebrated a podium finish supported by MANN‑FILTER products on completion of the rally in Saudi Arabia earlier this month, after navigating around 5,000 miles of gravel tracks, fine desert dust and endless dune fields.
OE‑quality filtration solutions ensured dependable protection for the engine, air, fuel, hydraulic and compressed‑air systems throughout the entire rally, MANN+HUMMEL said.
Even during heavy dust exposure, high temperatures and long stages without service intervals, the filtration technology helped maintain vehicle performance and prevent unexpected failures.
MANN‑FILTER sponsorship manager Fillipina Manou said the team’s efforts were ultimately rewarded with a strong second place overall.
