MEYLE boost for workshops with OE-compliant parts

MEYLE has unveiled new products that the vehicle parts giant said gives independent workshops access to OE-compliant air suspension components for the first time.

All components fulfil OE specifications for modern air suspensions, are developed with experienced OE partners and are tested according to MEYLE standards, the firm said.

The new product group comprises air suspension struts, air springs and level control sensors.  

Previously, where workshops dealing with premium vehicles had to either resort to expensive OEM parts or accept components for which active damping control was often limited or tightness could not be guaranteed, the MEYLE parts now permit value-based repairs without quality compromises.

For market launch, the firm is covering key applications in vehicles including Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Land Rover.
