Repairify introduces remote services booking portal

Repairify has launched a portal that enables crash repairers to book a remote technician online.

Phil Peace, Managing Director (SVP) International at Repairify observed: “Repairify Remote Services enable bodyshops to complete the majority of diagnostic and calibration work required on vehicles to return them safely to the road as quickly as possible, rather than send them to a main dealer or subcontract the work in their own workshop, saving on average three days.”

Once an account has been created, repairers scan the QR code to access the site, pick the required service and submit the request for a Repairify Remote technician.

Phil continued: “Once the request has been submitted, a technician will accept the job, pair the device with an OEM tool in the Repairify data centre and start the required process. A chat function enables repairers to talk directly to the technician who is assisting on the selected job. A scan report is also generated automatically and sent direct to the nominated email address.”

He added: “We wanted to make our Remote Services even more convenient and efficient for repairers and by transferring the booking system online our technicians can be on hand more speedily, helping reduce key-to-key times even further.”

The Repairify Remote Services portal is available via Android and IOS mobile devices.
