Ring Automotive donates to charity prize draw

Ring Automotive donated two of its MAGflex inspection lamps to the Jersey eRally charity prize draw, which raised £1,000 for Philip’s Footprints and the Gareth Roberts Memorial Fund.

Named after the real-life rally, the Jersey eRally saw competitors undertake virtual stages on Codemasters’ DiRT Rally 2.0, with over 200 taking part.

Jersey eRally competitors raised funds for Philip’s Footprints, a Channel Islands-based charity that supports bereaved parents and antenatal services, and the Gareth Roberts Memorial Fund, which supports rally crews hospitalised or forced to miss work because of injuries sustained while competing.

Jersey eRally Event Director Ben Buesnel said: “We’re delighted to have raised such important funds for our two charities. The event was a great success and we’re really grateful to Ring for adding two brilliant prizes to the draw.”

The draw offered various rally-related prizes, including autographed overalls, signed prints, plus sim racing gloves and branded rally merchandise.
