Servicesure recognises its network’s champions

At its annual 2026 Autocentre of the Year awards, held on 26 March at the Concorde Centre in Manchester, Servicesure has recognised the UK’s highest-performing independent garages, with Liverpool-based Ashwell Motors named Best Overall Garage.
Bringing together garage owners, supplier partners and industry leaders, the event is designed to celebrate excellence across key areas of the modern aftermarket, including customer service, electric vehicle capability, fleet servicing and regional performance.
The awards underline the continued evolution of the independent sector, as garages invest in new technologies, expand fleet relationships and raise operational standards to meet changing vehicle parc demands.
The 2026 award winners were:
- Customer Service Award: EAC Telford
- EV Garage of the Year: EAC Telford
- Fleet Garage of the Year: Magnet Autos
- Supplier of the Year: YUASA
The Regional Garage of the Year winners were:
- North West: Ashwell Motors
- North East: Charlie Taylor Garage Services
- Midlands: Elite Vehicle Repairs
- South West: Cleevely Electric Vehicles
- South East: Swanley Garage Services
- Scotland: Balmoral and Crown
- Wales: GP Motors
All regional winners were considered for the overall title, with Ashwell Motors selected as Best Overall Garage.
The introduction of the Fleet Garage of the Year category for 2026 reflects the growing importance of fleet work within the independent sector, as more garages develop the capability to support high-volume and commercial clients.
Entries were assessed by a judging panel comprising senior representatives from GSF Car Parts and Dingbro, who are behind the Servicesure network, alongside independent industry experts, ensuring a robust and balanced evaluation process.
Adam O’Neill, Partnership Director at GSF Car Parts, said: “The quality of entries reflects the level of investment and professionalism we’re seeing across the Servicesure network.
“These awards recognise businesses that are not only performing at a high level today, but are actively adapting to the future of the aftermarket, whether that’s EV capability, fleet servicing or consistently delivering high standards for customers.”
The Customer Service award, which was won by EAC Telford, was sponsored by The Motor Ombudsman, whose Director of Business Services & Engagement, Cansoy Kurnaz, commented: “We would like to congratulate EAC Telford on their fantastic achievement, for which they should be very proud. They clearly stood out from other award submissions in this category, and should be praised for their exceptional level of service, professionalism, and for consistently putting customers at the heart of whatever they do.”
Steve Horne, CEO, GSF Car Parts, added: “The Servicesure Autocentre of the Year Awards are a very special occasion, where we shine the spotlight on businesses within our nationwide network that consistently raise the bar for customer service. EAC Telford is a prime example of the lengths that repairers go to, so as to ensure ultimate customer satisfaction, and is a philosophy which exemplifies what the Servicesure Autocentre network stands for across the nation.”
The Servicesure Awards were part of a wider programme that included a conference and trade exhibition, providing a platform for collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the network.
