The Race Group announces Castrol Lubricants contract win

The Race Group has announced that it has strengthened its partnership with Castrol with a new five-year contract, extending its supply of lubricants for automotive and heavy duty vehicle customers in the South of England.
The recent contract win secures The Race Group as Castrol’s largest authorised distributor in the UK. With an established partnership spanning over 18 years, The Race Group became the first UK Castrol ambassador distributor in 2013 covering the Midlands and North of the UK. Customers in the South of England will now benefit from easier access to Castrol’s product portfolio supported by technical expertise and a dedicated and experienced sales team.

The Race Group and Castrol have ambitious plans for growth in the South. A new depot will be opening in Kingswinford later this year, purpose built for the storage of oils and lubricants and strategically located to service customers.
The Race Group is also working with Castrol to build its ‘Castrol Service’ offering to create a nationwide network of the best independent garages in the UK. Garages and workshops in the South of England will now have the opportunity to join the network and receive signage, point-of-sale displays, promotions, consumables and online training to help their business stand out from the crowd.
