WAI Europe hails year of growth

Automotive parts manufacturer WAI Europe has launched a new warehouse management system at its Rotterdam facility to support what it said has been a year of significant growth.

The UK is among European countries that have driven growth over the past 12 months, plus South Africa following a recent deal with Motus Aftermarket Parts.

WAI said the new Rotterdam system has supported the group’s increased efficiency and stockholding capacity.

CEO Ryan Moul (pictured), together with other senior executives from WA’s US headquarters, visited the Rotterdam plant to discuss the group’s expansion plans for key markets.

Richard Welland, president of WAI Europe said the group was focused on pushing the brand forward, supporting growth and expanding the team. “It’s great to see the US operations and leadership team bringing everyone together.”

Welland was named WAI Europe president last year, overseeing all European operations at a time when the company said it looked to continue even closer integration between Britain and the continent.
