WAI secures HC-Cargo parts distribution deal

WAI Global has become a preferred distribution partner of the HC-Cargo brand in the UK.

The new agreement, announced on December 16, will see the phase out of a separate HC-Cargo sales and distribution channel in the UK.

WAI will also stock, distribute and support the full range of HC-Cargo rotating units and spare parts for passenger car, commercial vehicle, off-highway and industrial applications.

The announcement follows WAI’s recent purchase of Pos Service Holland, a deal that the company said elevated WAI to the position of global leader in the supply of rotating electrics.

WAI said the addition of the HC-Cargo brand to its portfolio will further strengthen its services in the UK automotive aftermarket.

“This, coupled with our mature sales and distribution infrastructure, which ensures next day delivery to customers throughout the UK, enables us to go to market with an enviable proposition and cements our position as UK and Europe’s leading auto-electrical specialist.”

WAI said its representatives will contact all HC-Cargo customers as the company looks to fully support its sales of rotating electrics.
