Yokohama launches high performance winter tyre

Yokohama Rubber has launched sales of a new ultra-high performance winter tyre, the Advan Winter V907, as an afterparts tyre for the Mercedes-AMG E-Class luxury sedan.
The V907 is the first new winter tyre to be added to Yokohama’s global flagship Advan brand in 17 years.
Yokohama also plans to develop an Advan Winter V907 replacement tyre based on the new afterparts tyre in a wider range of sizes, with sales to be launched sequentially at tyre dealers mainly in Europe from 2025.
The newly developed V907 achieves an unusual combination of high performance on snow as well as in dry conditions, the company said.
In addition to excellent performance when driving on snow, the tyre delivers comfort and handling stability when driving on dry roads at the high speeds typical for high-power premium cars.
