GSF boosts coverage with Chesterfield branch

GSF Car Parts opened its fifth branch of this year in Chesterfield yesterday, saying a further seven are scheduled to open by the end of 2025.
The opening came just days after the motor factor launched branches in Bolton and Leicester.
Six new vans will operate from Chesterfield and there will be 12 full-time staff, including sales advisors, warehouse operators and drivers.
The branch moves into a 3,700 ft2 unit on the Broom Business Park which features office space, a shopfront and stock storage.
Sam Jones, Chesterfield branch manager, said: “There’s plenty of demand here, which we have seen in the weeks leading up to us opening. We’ve put together a great team, who are ready to give local independent garages exceptional customer service across a huge catalogue of products.”
Rob Lambert, Yorkshire regional manager, said: “While Chesterfield has been a white spot for us in the past, we can now capture a lot more local business, while relieving some pressure on the branches in Mansfield and Sheffield so they can focus on trading closer to home.”
Meanwhile, GSF concluded its second TechFest of the year earlier this month in Coventry, following its Manchester TechFest outing last month.
