The finalists for The Blend Awards 2026 have been announced ahead of the awards ceremony in Birmingham on Saturday 10 October.
The winners will be revealed during the evening ceremony at The Blend 2026, held at The Eastside Rooms following the event’s daytime conference.
Garage of the Year is divided into three categories based on business size, while the Staff Recognition Award recognises individuals working within independent garages.

The finalists were selected by an independent judging panel comprising Hayley Pells of the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI), industry author and G P Fabrications owner Grahame Pells, aftermarket journalist Mike Ruff and Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) Chief Executive Mark Field.
“What really stood out was the breadth of achievement across the independent sector, from embracing new technology and pioneering EV solutions to investing in people, supporting local communities and improving the customer experience,” said Mike.
“The strongest entries weren’t just good at telling their story. They backed it up with real examples of what they’re doing day in, day out.”
The Blend 2026 daytime conference will feature presentations from garage owners and industry representatives covering efficiency, profitability and leadership, alongside a trade exhibition.
