Transit problem solved

The Borg & Beck braking programme has grown by 251 new to range additions so far this year, bringing the range up to 4,000 live part numbers. Several popular applications are available which First Line believes are not readily available from other braking suppliers, including front brake pads for the Vauxhall Adam, Renault Clio and Ford Transit Custom; rear brake pads for the VW Golf VII; front brake discs for the Vauxhall Mokka and Ford B-Max and rear discs for the Fiat 500L and Hyundai i30. In addition to the thousands of parts within its dry and wet braking programmes, the firm also supplies cables and its team of experts has managed to solve the problem involving Ford’s MkV and VI Transit brake cables. It has issued a product bulletin clarifying which cables should be used, they vary depending on the wheelbase, month of manufacture, whether it has single or twin rear wheels or if fitted with rear discs or drum brakes. There are a total of 38 different parts that can be used so you need to get it right!
