Gelbcke appointed head of Europe at ZF Aftermarket

Alex Gelbcke joined ZF as head of Europe at ZF Aftermarket effective May 1.
ZF said his job will be to strengthen the European region by elevating customer relationships, boosting employee engagement and driving business growth.
Gelbcke (pictured), who was most recently CEO Benelux & France at LKQ Europe, has held various management posts in well-established companies, including 18 years at Tenneco as GM and VP aftermarket EMEA.
Philippe Colpron, head of ZF Aftermarket, said Gelbcke has expertise in both distribution and parts manufacturing and is known for his collaborative leadership and passion for growth.
Andy Hamilton, president and executive MD for LKQ Europe, said: “Whilst we are sad to see Alex go, we recognise this is an exciting opportunity for him to take on a key leadership role at one of our largest supplier partners. We wish Alex every success.”
