HELLA and Hengst extend OE filtration partnership

HELLA UK has announced a five-year extension of its partnership with OE filtration giant Hengst.
The agreement covers passenger car and light commercial vehicle filters, including oil, air, fuel, and cabin applications, with plans to expand the range in 2026 to include transmission kits, crankcase ventilation components, and oil pans.
Neil Grant, MD at HELLA UK, said the move underlined the firm’s dedication to providing workshops with premium filtration solutions made to OE standards.
HELLA, founded in 1899, and Hengst, established in 1958, are both OE manufacturers and system suppliers to the global automotive industry.
Ian Mattacola, HELLA product and brand manager for filtration, said: “Filters supplied in Hengst packaging are produced in the same manufacturing environment and from the same materials as those fitted to vehicles during original assembly, making them fundamentally the same product.”
The Hengst range offers over 1,900 premium-quality filters covering more than 90,000 cross references for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
Featuring more than 120 different filter media, each product is designed for high dirt absorption, pressure and temperature resistance, vibration resilience, and precise fitment.
